Freelance Social Media & Digital Marketing Manager Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia (all genders)

Focus: Social Media, Influencer Relations, Digital Marketing & Local Content Creation

Optional: PR Support & Trade Fair Assistance

Tasks & Responsibilities 

Social Media, Influencer Relations & Content Creation

  • Manage KNIPEX social media channels in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, including planning, scheduling, and publishing content via internal tools across platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.
  • Create locally relevant content and handle community management with a strong customer-centric approach.
  • Build and maintain relationships with influencers, collaborators, and local creators.
  • Continuously optimise content and campaigns to improve reach, engagement, and overall brand impact.

Digital Sales & Marketing

  • Create, localise, and optimise digital sales and marketing content in close cooperation with the KNIPEX Digital Marketing Team at HQ in Germany and our representatives in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia.
  • Support online campaigns (e.g., social media, paid advertising, email marketing) for owned and partner channels, and coordinate activities with selected customers and distributors.
  • Monitor and analyse KPIs related to traffic, conversions, and campaign performance, while staying informed about market trends, competitor activities, and digital best practices in B2B and B2C environments.

Additional

  • PR experience or affinity, including working with media, trade publications, and brand communications.
  • Willingness to support and attend relevant trade fairs and industry events within Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia.

Preferred Profile & Skills 

  • Strong interest in (hand) tools and technical products.
  • Proven experience in digital marketing, social media management, and influencer relations (B2B and/or B2C).
  • Confident in handling performance KPIs.
  • Background in marketing, communications, sales, or a related field (education or degree preferred).
  • Excellent language skills: Latvian or Estonian (native or fluent) and very good English.
  • Solid digital know-how in content marketing and social media platforms.
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office applications (especially Excel).
  • Freelance mindset with high independence, reliability, and strong local market understanding.

Familiarity with:

  • Social media management tools
  • Native platform tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite)
  • Paid media platforms (e.g., Meta Ads Manager)
  • Content planning tools
  • Influencer and monitoring tools
  • Creative and localisation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud)
  • Video editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar)
  • CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
